Hotel Rules & Regulations

Thank you for choosing the Days Inn & Suites Collingwood for your accommodation needs. In order to provide the highest quality of service to all of our guests, the following policies, rules and regulations will be strictly enforced.

  1. Noise Levels above normal casual talk will not be tolerated. This means that noise from within a room must not be heard outside of the room between the hours of 10PM and 8AM.
  2. Drinking activities are to be kept within the registered guest’s room. We are not licensed for alcohol consumption in our public areas and hallways.
  3. All room doors must remain completely closed.
  4. THIS HOTEL IS A NON SMOKING HOTEL AND FINES FOR SMOKING IN THE ROOMS OR HALLWAYS ARE SUBJECT TO BUT NOT LIMITED TO $200.00 OR MORE. We are also pet free and any violations will be subject but not limited to a $ 200.00 fine.
  5. Only registered guests are allowed in the room after 10pm.
  6. A person over the age of 16 must accompany all children under the age of 12 when entering the pool area.
  7. In the event of damage to the room, the cost of repairs and cleaning will be charged to the registered guest of that
    room.
  8. Early Check out Policy. Many groups reserve and block rooms for extra nights which they may or may not need. This results in the hotel denying bookings for certain dates when in fact rooms become available at the last minute as a group checks out before their scheduled departure date. This results in lost business for the hotel as well as displacing other potential visitors to Collingwood. Alterations to the departure date will be accepted no later then 7 days in advance of the scheduled arrival date. Should your group or any individual with your group decide to checkout without giving this prior notice they will be charge the full rate of any remaining nights.
  9. If you and your guests are involved in the cause of a noise complaint from other hotel guests, you may be charged for the full cost of the other party’s room (s).
  10. If you have received additional warnings that you are violating our policies, you may be asked to leave. If you
    do not leave the hotel in a respectful manner the local police will be summoned to carry out the eviction.
  11. In the event of eviction from the hotel, room charges will not be refunded.
  12. Children under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by an adult when not in a guest room. No children are to be running or playing in the halls or common areas of the hotel.
  13. We do not allow congregation in the halls at any time due to fire codes.
  14. No cooking devices are allowed in the rooms except what is already provided by the hotel. If any personal cooking devices are found, they will be removed and returned to you upon departure. This includes crock pots, toasters and electric grills.
